Givebacks is seeking a Product Manager to lead a cross-functional product development pod, driving the successful execution of initiatives that align with business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills, and hands-on execution to ensure that our products meet customer needs and drive adoption.

 What You’ll Do:

Pod Leadership & Execution

  • Lead a cross-functional pod, working closely with designers, developers, QA, and PMs to drive product development.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Provide clear direction and resources to the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Product Roadmapping & Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap in collaboration with company leadership and stakeholders.
  • Align development efforts with business goals and ensure initiatives drive meaningful impact.
  • Balance short-term execution with long-term product vision and market positioning.

Sprint & Backlog Management

  • Own the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and refined with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with developers to deliver high-quality features that meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure rigorous testing and validation of features before deployment.

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Optimize workflows, remove blockers, and maintain cross-team alignment for smooth execution.
  • Ensure product development processes adhere to quality standards and company needs.

Customer Satisfaction & Adoption

  • Analyze customer feedback and implement product enhancements to improve customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Develop and refine features that drive adoption, particularly for fundraising and store products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to optimize workflows and improve user experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, we believe this candidate must embody the following characteristics:

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, leading sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Prior experience developing B2B or B2G products, particularly for regulated or compliance-driven industries.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling new features or products that drive measurable results.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive product adoption.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a strategic roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Experience gathering and prioritizing requirements based on customer and stakeholder input.
  • Strong data analysis and customer research skills to interpret customer insights, product metrics, and market trends.
  • Experience using product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, QA, and PMs.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, with experience working closely with executives, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in K-12 education technology or working with school districts.
  • Understanding of district finance officers, CFOs, business officers, and superintendents' needs.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and payment solutions for schools or similar industries.
